Juszczyk plans to sign with the 49ers, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports.
As expected, Juszczyk and the 49ers are closing in on a deal that likely will place him among the NFL's highest-paid fullbacks, if not at the very top. He had 41 and 37 receptions the past two seasons, serving as Baltimore's primary lead blocker while also getting some work as a passing-down back. Given their aggressive pursuit, it would appear the 49ers have an even larger role in mind for Juszczyk under new head coach Kyle Shanahan.
