The Panthers announced a few roster moves Tuesday, which included waiving running back Darrin Reaves and placing linebacker Chase Blackburn (knee) on injured reserve. Reaves became expendable since DeAngelo Williams is set to return from an ankle injury Thursday against the Saints.
The Panthers also announced they signed offensive tackle Mike Remmers off the Rams practice squad and promoted safety Robert Lester to the 53-man roster.
