The Bears are adding another piece to their defense.
The Bears announced they signed Jarvis Jenkins to a one-year contract. The deal is pending the passing of a physical once Jenkins arrives to Chicago.
The Chicago Tribune was the first to report the story.
Jenkins recorded 28 tackles in 2014 and has two total sacks in four NFL seasons. He was drated by the Redskins in 2011 out of Clemson.
