Russell Hansbrough: Waived by Bucs

Hansbrough was waived by the Buccaneers on Saturday, Scott Smith of the team's official site reports.

Hansbrough simply wasn't good enough to earn his keeps among the Tampa Bay backfield this season. That isn't to say he's not good enough for other teams, however. It'll be interesting to see if he can attract other suitors following his departure from Tampa Bay.
