Darby was placed on IR after being waived/injured and clearing waivers, Mike Triplett of ESPN NFL Nation reports.
Darby's injury has never been disclosed but with him now on IR the severity isn't of much importance, as he can't play this year. In his absence, Jamal Golden and Trae Elston will likely see an small increase in reps.
