Wright is listed behind Charles Johnson, Stefon Diggs, Adam Thielen, Laquon Treadwell and Cordarrelle Patterson on the unofficial Week 1 depth chart.
This confirms that Wright has been buried on the depth chart, with Thielen likely taking on slot duties in three-wide formations to start the season. Treadwell could push for the No. 3 wideout role before long, as starter Diggs is expected to play a lot of snaps from the slot. Regardless, Wright has been marginalized in the Minnesota offense and may eventually be a candidate for release.
