Leighton gave up one goal on 17 shots in Tuesday's 6-2 loss to the Stars. The netminder relieved Scott Darling after the first period.
Leighton was recalled on March 17 due to Corey Crawford's upper-body injury, and he was pressed into duty with Scott Darling struggling to keep the Dallas offense off the board. The 34-year-old netminder had not made an NHL appearance since January 2013 with the Flyers, and it's tough to envision the 1999 sixth-round pick making any sort of fantasy impact in Chicago.
