Schwartz (elbow) was placed on injured reserve Tuesday.
The Blues put the finishing touches on the 23-man roster Tuesday, and it was pretty much a given that Schwartz would be on IR to start the year. He suffered the elbow injury in a late-September practice, at which point it was determined he would miss four weeks of game action. If all goes according to schedule, expect the rapidly improving winger to make his return near the end of this month.
