Stafford is available for Vegas' taking in the expansion draft since he was left unprotected by the Bruins on Saturday, theScore reports.
This was an easy decision for the B's considering Stafford can simply walk as an unrestricted free agent this summer. He was acquired from the Jets at this year's trade deadline and made an immediate impact with five points in his first six games. He'd eventually cool off, but did earn an opportunity to play on the David Krejci line in late March.
