Canadiens' Alexei Emelin: Doesn't come out for third period

Emelin is not on the Canadiens' bench for the start of the third period after getting hit in the second period of Saturday night's game against the Wild, according to Renaud Lavoie of TVA Sports.

Emelin was on the receiving end of a check from Minnesota's David Jones and was crushed into the boards. We'll get more information after the game.
