Eaves (lower body) will be sidelined for Friday's Game 1 of the Western Conference finals against the Predators.
Eaves was seen walking around the locker room and working out Thursday, but he's still not fully recovered. It was initially thought that he would be out for the season, though the team remains optimistic he can return at some point during its playoff run. His next potential opportunity to take to the ice will be Sunday's Game 2.
