Drouin notched an assist in Tuesday's 4-3 shootout win over the Panthers, pushing his season-opening point streak to three games.

The 21-year-old's racked up a goal and three assists so far, carrying forward last year's promising postseason play. It sure looks like Drouin's turned the corner after his tenure with the Lightning seemed like it was grinding toward a tumultuous end for much of last year. He's seeing big minutes on the top line and the power play, and they're paying off in spades. If you took the plunge on the 2013 No. 3 pick on draft day, you've got to be feeling pretty darn good right now -- but not as good as GM Steve Yzerman feels for resisting the temptation to trade him.
