Lightning's Mike McKenna: Moving across state to Tampa Bay

McKenna was traded to the Lightning on Wednesday, with the Panthers receiving Adam Wilcox in return, Joe Smith of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

This will actually be McKenna's second stint with the Lightning, as he played 15 games for the team back during the 2008-09 season. The Missouri native could provide some veteran leadership in the goalie corps should the Bolts not re-sign Peter Budaj, but McKenna is not expected to become a regular starter anytime soon.
