Leivo was one of three forwards loaned by the Maple Leafs on Monday to the Toronto Marlies of the AHL, the Toronto Sun reports.
Leivo heads to the AHL for now, but he should be back up with the big club before too long, considering that he had scored a goal in four of his last five games for the Leafs prior to being sent down on Monday.
