Nurse beat Devan Dubnyk with a snap shot for his first NHL goal in Tuesday's 4-3 loss to the Wild.
Nurse was recalled from the AHL on Monday and wasted no time letting his presence be known. He gave the Oilers a brief lead in the third period, which they would ultimately blow en route to the loss. Nurse skated 19:20, while adding three hits and two blocks. It was just his season debut, so adding Nurse seems like a hasty move, but it could also pay off in the long run if he sticks with Edmonton.
