Reinhart was reassigned to AHL Bakersfield on Tuesday, Mike Morreale of NHL.com reports.
Reinhart had been recalled ahead of the All-Star break, but he only dressed in two of the club's four games during the week. The 22-year-old will head back to the AHL, where he's tallied six points and a plus-1 rating in 17 games.
