Hendricks (foot) won't play Thursday against the Coyotes.
Thursday will mark the 10th total game Hendricks has missed with a foot injury that landed the 34-year-old forward on injured reserve earlier this season. The Oilers recalled Anton Slepyshev on Thursday, indicating Hendricks will likely once again be placed on injured reserve with his nagging foot injury. If that's the case, he will be eligible to return to the Oilers' lineup as soon as Saturday against L.A., although Edmonton will likely hold the veteran winger out of action until he has fully recovered from the ailment.
