Hutton backstopped the Predators to a 3-2 victory over the Sabres on Wednesday, turning away 30 of 32 shots for his second win of the season.
It was a rare start and victory for Hutton, who continues to serve primarily as the backup to Pekka Rinne. He improves to 2-1-0 on the season and will continue to see limited duty between the pipes as long as Rinne is healthy.
