He averaged just 13:38 of ice time, as Vesey was never able to maintain a steady role in the Rangers' top six. More was expected from the Harvard product upon his ascent to the NHL, and it seemed like he struggled under the weight of those expectations, often opting to attempt fancy plays rather than simple ones. However, his upside isn't in question, so expect him to show improvement in his sophomore season.
