Rangers' Malte Stromwall: Signs two-year deal with Rangers

Stromwall signed a two-year contract with the Rangers on Tuesday that will net him an average salary of $742,500 per season, Pat Leonard of the New York Daily News reports.

Stromwall is a 21-year-old, right-handed wing out of Sweden, who played with AIK in the Swedish league Allsvenskan during the 2015-16 season. With AIK, Stromwall, who's considered to be an impressive skater with great speed, took part in 49 games, notching 25 goals and 17 assists. He'll join the Rangers as a camp body and look to make an impression on the coaches for the 2016-17 season.
