Chiarot (upper body) will miss Thursday's game against Philadelphia, per Daniella Bruce of the Red Wings' official site.
Chiarot has three goals, 12 points, 34 PIM, 84 hits and 93 blocks in 45 contests this season. This will be his third straight game on the shelf. With Chiarot still unavailable, Justin Holl is projected to remain in the lineup Thursday.
