Red Wings' Gustav Nyquist: Impressing on international stage

Nyquist registered a hat trick and an assist at the World Championship in Russia on Wednesday, helping Sweden defeat Kazakhstan, 7-3.

Nyquist must have been inspired by a horse named after him winning the Kentucky Derby last Saturday. The 26-year-old now has a team-high six points in the international competition. It's a nice change of pace for Nyquist as he -- along with the rest of the Red Wings -- stumbled offensively in a first-round playoff loss to the Lightning.
