Guhle, who just wrapped up his WHL season with Prince Albert, was assigned to AHL Rochester on Thursday.

Guhle was signed shortly after being drafted by the Sabres in the second round in 2015, and was one of the last cuts from training camp. With his junior season finished, Guhle will now try to help Rochester get in the playoffs with six games remaining in the regular season. Given that the NHL season ends this week, Guhle is highly unlikely to debut with the Sabres until next year.
