O'Reilly was recalled from AHL Rochester on Saturday.
With the demotions of Evan Rodrigues and Nicholas Baptiste on Friday, it would appear that the 5-8-4 Sabres are trying to shake things up with the promotions of O'Reilly and Cole Schneider. The 30-year-old pivot hasn't played in the NHL yet this year and hasn't scored more than seven points in a season since the 2010-11 campaign, so he isn't exactly a hot fantasy commodity.
