Sabres' Viktor Antipin: Signs on with Buffalo

Antipin agreed to terms on a one-year, entry-level contract with the Sabres on Thursday.

It appeared that Antipin would make the move to Buffalo after he terminated his KHL contract at the beginning of May, so Thursday's signing simply makes it official. The one-year deal will challenge the 24-year-old to produce immediately and improve a Buffalo blue line that struggled for much of the 2016-17 campaign, so he'll be an interesting player to watch come October.
