Bailey was sent down to AHL Binghamton on Monday.
Bailey's reassignment comes as Mike Hoffman (suspension) wraps up his two-game ban and is eligible to play against the Blackhawks on Tuesday. The 25-year-old Bailey averaged 9:29 of ice time during his brief stint and recorded just two shots on goal. In the minors, however, he's tied for the team lead in scoring with nine goals and five helpers.
