Lerg was reassigned to AHL San Jose on Monday, Kevin Kurz of CSN Bay Area reports.
Lerg was recalled to the parent club Thursday for the second time this season, but he'll once again make the trip back to the minors. The 29-year-old figures to be in line for another promotion if the team is in need of forward depth at any point.
