Sharks' Mikkel Boedker: Promoted to top line

Coach Pete DeBoer decided to change his lines following a lackluster road trip, including bumping Boedker up to the top line alongside Joe Thornton and Joe Pavelski, the San Jose Mercury News reports.

Boedker has gotten off to a slow start this season, but coach DeBoer hopes moving the speedy winger up alongside the two veterans will jumpstart him. If he manages to get it going and sticks on the top line, it could change Boedker's outlook for the remainder of the season.
