The second leg of the Triple Crown is about set to go. The 142nd Preakness Stakes is ready to run on Saturday in Baltimore, Maryland at Pimlico Race Course with Kentucky Derby winner Always Dreaming looking to win his fourth consecutive race.
Always Dreaming is the odds-on favorite to win at Pimlico, currently going off at 4/5 to outlast the other nine horses in the field and move on to the Belmont Stakes with a chance at the Triple Crown in June.
He will face stiff competition, though, especially from new opponents in Cloud Computing (12/1) and Conquest Mo Money (18/1). He will also break from the starting gate next to Kentucky Derby rival Classic Empire (3/1), the horse with the second-best odds.
All the action from Baltimore begins at 10:30 a.m. ET with the first race of the day at Pimlico. The TV broadcast begins at 2:30 p.m. ET on NBC Sports Network with undercard races. The action then shifts to NBC at 5 p.m. ET for the main race. Post time is expected to be 6:45 p.m. ET.
