The government really needs to stop letting the internet name things, but horse owners apparently never should. Horsey McHorseface, following in the footsteps of "Boaty McBoatface," a British exploration ship that sadly never came to adopt the name, won the $20,000 Arthur Thompson Memorial Maiden Plate at Cessrock Racecourse, according SB Nation.

Although the British government nixed calling its vessel Boaty McBoatFace, horse owners are honor-bound by no such petty hangups. An entrepreneurial Aussie took the name Horsey for his own, and Horsey McHorseface was born.
Horsey upholds a long-standing tradition tradition of phenomenal horse names. You can hear the call in all of its Glory McGloryface below, thanks to Sky Racing.
