Diamondbacks pitcher Matt Stites will throw a bullpen session Tuesday, his first since being shut down with an elbow injury in spring training, the Arizona Republic reports.
Stites is on the 15-day disabled list and remains without a timetable for return. He posted a 5.37 ERA and 26:16 K:BB ratio in 33 innings in his first season with the Diamondbacks in 2014.
