Giants relief pitcher Jeremy Affeldt made a solid appearance during a rehab outing for Triple-A Sacramento on Thursday.
Affeldt threw 13 pitches to close out the eighth inning as he continues to make his way back from a shoulder injury. He didn't allow any hits and struck out one batter in the process.
