Since the 2016 Rio Olympics ended a little less than two weeks ago, Olympians have been making the rounds at big-league ballparks. Gymnast Aly Raisman let David Ortiz wear her medals, and Bryce Harper held all of Katie Ledecky's gold medals.

On Thursday, beach volleyball player April Ross was on hand at Wrigley Field to throw out the first pitch before the Cubs played the Giants. She threw out the first pitch the only way a beach volleyball player can throw out the first pitch: barefoot.

Walking barefoot through the grass is one of my favorite things to do in the summer. Chilling out in the backyard and twiddling your toes through the grass is as relaxing as it gets. Walking barefoot on a major-league field would be so cool.

Ross and her teammate Kerri Walsh Jennings won the bronze medal in Rio a few weeks ago. Ross won silver at the 2012 Olympics as well.
