Diamondbacks pitcher Matt Stites hasn't pitched in a game this spring, and he suffered a setback in Saturday's bullpen session.
Stites has been plagued by elbow problems all camp. An MRI earlier in March showed inflammation but no damage. He began throwing to live batters last week, and, a short time after throwing a bullpen session on Saturday, his elbow "locked up", according to MLB.com's Steve Gilbert.
"It's felt better the last few days," Stites said Tuesday. "I hope to get back throwing soon."
