The Arizona Diamondbacks bad fortune continues, as now ace Zack Greinke has landed on the 15-day disabled list due to an injury to his left oblique.

The D-Backs announced the move Sunday, reinstating Rickie Weeks from the bereavement list as a corresponding move.

Greinke left his last start, Tuesday, with the injury and apparently hasn't recovered enough to make his next start before the All-Star break.

The hits keep on coming for Arizona, which lost its second-best position player for the season back in March and has gotten disappointing performances from the rotation other than Greinke.

Greinke is 10-3 with a 3.62 ERA (119 ERA+), 1.16 WHIP and 91 strikeouts in 109 1/3 innings. The timing is never good for an ace to hit the DL, but it's especially rough with Greinke. After a bad start to the season, he has a 2.63 ERA in his last 12 starts and a 1.63 ERA in the month of June.

Without Greinke, the remaining D-Backs rotation: Shelby Miller, Patrick Corbin, Archie Bradley, Robbie Ray and a yet-unnamed starter.

Arizona entered the season with playoff aspirations, but sits 14 games out in the NL West and 7 1/2 games out of the second Wild Card with a 37-46 record entering Sunday.
