The Mets did not wait long to put reliever Pedro Feliciano to use, as he pitched in both Friday and Saturday's extra-inning games against the Royals. Feliciano tossed 1 1/3 scoreless innings over two appearances, in his first appearances since 2010.
Feliciano has been unable to pitch in the minors over the previous two seasons due to a variety of injuries, including ones to his left shoudler that required surgery.
