Phillies starting pitcher Chad Billingsley tossed five scoreless innings in his start against the Marlins on Saturday.
Billingsley gave up just four hits and was in command of the game before being pulled after five innings because he was experiencing soreness and tightness in his right elbow. He struck out two batters and gave up just one walk while picking up his second win of the season.
Billingsley (2-3) now has a 5.84 ERA with 15 strikeouts and eight walks in 37 innings of work this season.
