The Red Sox recalled pitcher Drake Britton from Triple-A Pawtucket Sunday, the Boston Globe reports. Jackie Bradley was sent back to Pawtucket to make room.
Britton will be making his major-league debut whenever he takes the mound. The 24-year-old has gone 7-7 this season in the minors between Double-A Portland and Pawtucket. He's made just one start with Pawtucket and lost with five runs allowed on 10 hits over 5 1/3 innings with five strikeouts.
