Reds promote Nate Adcock, option Jumbo Diaz to Triple-A

The Reds have promoted pitcher Nate Adcock from Triple-A Louisville and optioned pitcher Jumbo Diaz to the same club.

Adcock owns a 2.96 ERA and 20:7 K:BB ratio in 24 1/3 innings with Lousville. His addition to the active roster will mean that a 40-man roster spot will be cleared prior to gametime.

Diaz was 2-1 with a 6.65 ERA and 25:5 K:BB ratio in 23 innings. He had allowed a pair of earned runs in two of his last three appearances.
