The Brewers have claimed reliever Cesar Jimenez off waivers from Philadelphia, per CSNPhilly.com.
The 30-year-old Jimenez, who was designated for assignment Thursday, pitched 3 1/3 shutout innings for the Phillies this season after longer stints with Seattle and Philadelphia in previous years.
