There's a lot of speculation out there about what the Marlins are going to do come the July 31 non-waiver trade deadline, but Giancarlo Stanton , Jose Reyes, and Mark Buehrle aren't being dangled in trades, tweeted MLB.com's Joe Frisaro.

  • On his blog, Frisaro wrote that manager Ozzie Guillen was surprised by rumors involving Hanley Ramirez and Heath Bell potentially being traded to Boston
  • Frisaro acknowledged that the Marlins "are looking to re-energize their roster," but that if Ramirez is traded, it's more likely to happen in the offseason.
  • The Marlins want more speed in the outfiled, and look for Logan Morrison to play first base next year.
  • Anibal Sanchez, Josh Johnson, and Omar Infante are other Marlins who are being mentioned in trade talks.
  • If Infante is moved, Emilio Bonifacio can take his spot at second base.
