Steph Curry's wife, Ayesha Curry, made a very public mistake during the NBA Finals and unfortunately, she will forever be linked to it. However, she has no trouble addressing the issue and how she learned from it.

Curry angrily fired off a tweet about the NBA being rigged moments after her husband was ejected in Game 6 against the Cleveland Cavaliers. She quickly deleted the tweet and apologized, making it clear that her emotions had gotten the best of her. And as Curry told People, it was a heat of the moment mistake and one that she openly acknowledges was very wrong of her to make:

"I was just a fan in that moment so I didn't think about the ramifications," she says. "I regret the way that I voiced how hurt I was. I felt hurt for [Steph], and I didn't mean to offend anybody. Obviously, what I wrote is not what I think about what he does for a living."

Through everything, Steph has maintained his unwavering support for his wife. "I know her intentions. I know where she was coming from," he tells PEOPLE. "You're not going to win any battles on Twitter, so I tell her, 'Keep being you. Keep doing what you're doing. Don't worry about what people are going to say. No matter who you are, they are going to try to find something to try to get under your skin and make you be somebody you're not.'"

There is not really anything else Ayesha can say about this matter. She made a mistake, apologized for it and now knows that she can't be tweeting like a fan. Again it was just a simple mistake but like with all mistakes, it is one Ayesha is learning from.
