There are plenty of theories as to why the Cavaliers were able to come back from a 3-1 deficit to beat the Warriors in last year's NBA Finals: The Cavs slowed down Stephen Curry, Draymond Green was suspended for Game 5, Andre Iguodala's injury, etc.

But Cavs forward Richard Jefferson said that none of those had anything to do with it. The real reason the Warriors lost, Jefferson said, was a lack of composure.

Everyone who watches the NBA knows that the Warriors have a certain swagger to them (visibly led by Green), and it certainly rubs some folks the wrong way. Jefferson poses an interesting theory -- that the Warriors' trash talk caused them to lose their poise down the stretch last year.

Not sure if I'm buying this -- it's probably just a head game that Jefferson is trying to play with Golden State -- but it will be interesting to see how animated things get on the court between two teams that are meeting in the Finals for the third straight year.
