UPDATE:

The Rockets announced that Nene has gone to the hospital in order to undergo an MRI.

The San Antonio Spurs suffered a tough injury blow earlier in their second-round series against the Houston Rockets, as Tony Parker ruptured his quad tendon during Game 2, which will keep him out for the playoffs.

Now, the Houston Rockets have felt the injury bug as their big man, Nene, went down with a pulled groin early in Game 4. He suffered the injury less than two minutes after he checked into the game, leaving with 3:30 left in the first quarter.

During the second quarter, the team announced he would be out for the remainder of the game.

There is still no news about his possible availability for the rest of the series.

The Brazilian has been impressive throughout the playoffs, averaging 10.8 points and 5.3 rebounds per game.
