There are very select combinations of players who could do what Andre Miller and JaVale McGee pulled off Wednesday night in Brooklyn.

About 60 feet away, Miller put a lob right on the money to McGee, who got it and didn't dunk it -- he flushed it.

What's most impressive about this type of alley-oop to me isn't necessarily the pass, it's the vision. Miller had to pick McGee up from the distance and make the split-second choice to fire a pass.

The Nets went on to win, though, 119-108, beating a shorthanded Nuggets squad playing without Andre Iguodala and Danilo Gallinari.
