One of my favorite things for a team to do is set up plays out of timeouts late in the half. Why not use that as a setup for late game situations? There's no reason not to value that possession. Both the Pacers and the Blazers did it Friday. The Pacers wound up with a push hook from David West off some complicated off-ball action. The Trail Blazers had a simpler concept: Let's let Damian Lillard do his thing.

George just got worked on that hesitation move, and Lillard's ability to finish sliding parallel to the backboard is phenomenal. No wonder the kid's in like nineteen events next weekend.
