If this isn't the height of over-saturation, what is?

The Miami Heat posted this YouTube video of MVP forward LeBron James getting his finger sized for his 2012 NBA championship ring.

"It's a little loose," James said of the first ring he tried on. "It's not supposed to be that loose, right?"

Another ring was then placed onto his right hand.

"Yeah, that's more like it," he said. "Yep."

James then pretended to scream as a female employee tried to pull it off his finger. Opting against the help, he removed the test ring himself and told a bystander that he wears a 13 1/2.

Yes, that was totally pointless. But can you blame the Heat and James for this multimedia victory lap? Especially after the years of scorn he took for being unable to win the big one? I don't think so. Heat fans surely love this to death. As for everyone else, this video seems to fall well within the bounds of, "To the victor go the spoils."

The Heat will be presented with their 2012 championship rings on Oct. 30, the night of their season opener against the Boston Celtics at American Airlines Arena.
