A very strange thing happened in Minneapolis on Wednesday. The 4-12 Minnesota Timberwolves and the 0-17 Philadelphia 76ers played a full possession before the referees realized both teams were shooting at the wrong baskets. There was some confusion as they decided to wipe away the foul that sent Sixers center Henry Sims to the free throw line and re-do the jump ball.

I have never seen anything like this. Of course it happened in a Philly game.

At halftime, Minnesota leads Philadelphia 34-32. It's shaping up to be a classic.
