The Sacramento Kings were up by one point and shooting free throws with 0.6 seconds left in the game. Ben McLemore was at the free throw line and missed the first free throw. Missing the second free throw didn't seem like such a bad idea because the Grizzlies still had to call timeout if they grabbed the board. They did so and left themselves 0.3 seconds left on the clock.

That's technically enough for a catch-and-shoot, but what about a catch-and-underhand scoop?

Vince Carter inbounded the ball and threw a lob to the left side of the basket. Then Courtney Lee caught the lob and tossed up a reverse, two-handed shot that he made to give the Grizzlies the lead. Kings' center Ryan Hollins claimed that he tipped the inbound pass, which would have run the clock out before the ball even got to Lee.

The referees reviewed the play and determined that not only did Hollins not touch the pass but that Lee got off the shot in time.
