The Memphis Grizzlies were locked in a tight game all the way to the wire with the Denver Nuggets on Tuesday. For much of the early season, Marc Gasol has not looked like himself as he continues to work his way back from a broken foot that cost him almost all of last season.

After Emmanuel Mudiay's dunk secured a one-point Nuggets lead with seven seconds to go, the teams traded turnovers before Memphis had one more inbounds with 0.7 seconds on the clock. Suddenly, magic, and a 108-107 Grizzlies victory.

Three of Denver's four losses have come by a combined six points. That's just brutal. It's a great play drawn up, however, with Kenneth Faried guarding the larger Gasol, whose touch is so good. When Gasol loses Faried off the screen, he has no chance of recovering with a perfect pass. The Grizzlies return to .500 with the win while Denver slips to 3-4, ending a five-game, 11-day road trip.
